The Future of Motor Manufacturing Isnt a Single Machine — Its an Ecosystem

At CWIEME Shanghai 2026, NIDE was invited by the exhibition organizer to share our perspective on where motor manufacturing is heading. Heres how we see the industry evolving and what we brought to the show.

One belief shapes how we work

We believe the future of motor manufacturing wont be defined by any single machine. Its built through an integrated ecosystem.

Manufacturers today are looking for more than automation equipment. They need engineering expertise from the earliest stages of development, reliable component supply, intelligent production systems, and the flexibility to scale as markets evolve. No single piece of equipment delivers that on its own.

What we brought to the booth

That thinking shows up in what we displayed at the booth. As an intelligent-equipment manufacturer focused on the motor industry, we brought a wide range of key equipment and production lines for critical processes: hairpin winding for new energy vehicles, brushless-motor winding, drone-motor winding, flexible production lines, and our digital-twin system.

But the equipment is only one layer. Beyond the technologies themselves is the ecosystem weve built around motor manufacturing: alongside our machines, we supply a full range of motor components — through our MCPP platform — and offer Early Development Involvement (EDI), co-developing with customers from the early stages of a project. On that foundation, our aim is to empower customers to achieve intelligent, digital, and flexible motor production.

A golden window for the equipment sector

The motor world is advancing at a remarkable pace. In just a few years, the growth in motor demand and the global footprint of the industry have changed dramatically — and for the equipment-manufacturing sector, this is a golden window of opportunity.

NIDE is keeping pace with that trend and steadily expanding into global markets. Looking ahead, we'll invest even more in flexible production and in efficient, high-slot-fill motor manufacturing.

As motors reach into more applications worldwide — from new energy vehicles to UAVs and humanoid robotics — the way theyre built is changing just as fast. We believe the next competitive advantage will come from connecting engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain into one integrated solution. Thats the ecosystem were building.
